WHAT IS OUR
Hi, I’m Nigel Moore – founder of My Technology Business.
In 2008, I was $50,000 in debt, the global financial crisis was just starting and through a series of unfortunate events (ask me about it one day), I wound up running my own Technology Business.
Even though I had been running small businesses since 1999, I quickly realised I knew very little about running a Technology Business.
I had no capital, no cash flow, no systems, no anything.
I think I had to increase my credit card limit just to pay for an Accounting System.
After 3 years, I was working 70-90 hours each week hustling to grow the business and not getting anywhere fast.
I finally had enough and went on a mission to learn how the best Technology Businesses in the world are ran.
Over the next few years, I spent a healthy six-figure sum on education, travel, masterminds, courses, programs and much more.
I implemented everything I could and finally 8 years later, I was running a 7 figure Technology Business that only needed me to work in it for 5-10 hours per week.
I was also earning the most I’d ever earnt working for myself.
Friends in the industry and people at events started asking me how I was doing it.
How was I working 5-10 hours a week and doing what I was doing?
So, I started teaching and coaching them on the systems and processes I had put in place.
And do you know what happened?
Not only did they get good results – but I actually loved it.
I loved teaching others how to grow their Technology Business
Even more than I enjoyed building and growing my own Technology Business.
These were my direct competitors mind you. People wondered what I was doing.
The way I see it, was that when you are passionate about something – nothing can get in the way – even the threat of losing business.
After doing this for a while, the writing was on the wall.
We decided to sell our Technology Business so I could focus one of my core passions – helping other Technology Business owners grow and run theirs.
Immediately, I started skilling myself up in teaching and coaching and started travelling the world talking to experts, analysing their business models, finding out how they got results from their clients and befriending people doing the same thing in other industries.
I spent another healthy sum on education (close to $100,000 in 18 months) and spent day and night learning as much as I could to figure out the best ways I could help as many people as possible.
This led to the birth of My Technology Business.
Now, I’m on a mission to help as many Technology Business owners put in the right systems, processes and people so that they too can get more fun, more freedom and more profits from their business.
