Use this Backup Agreement whenever you sell or provide some sort of Data Backup service to clients to help set the right expectations.

Normally to have Legal Agreements like these built from scratch – it ​can cost ​anywhere from $3,000 to $15,000. However, we believe there’s no point in paying to re-invent the wheel.

So, simply give these baseline agreements to your lawyer or legal team and ask them to adjust and tweak them to suit your exact circumstances. You’ll save the majority of those costs that you can put back into other areas of your business (like marketing!)

Please bear in mind that some of the clauses in these agreements are worded heavily in YOUR favor. If you feel they are too far in your favor – please work with your lawyer to tune them down to something you’re comfortable with. We ultimately decided to upload them heavily weighted in your favor so you can tune them down as you see fit.

Ok, now that the legal warning blurb is over, here’s ​a few quick ​points ​on how to use this Agreement (make sure you read them).

​This ​Backup Agreement should be used in conjunction with ​this General Terms of Service Agreement ​which covers ​general ​things such as payment terms, confidentiality, non-​solicitation and more.

We have included a page ​in this Agreement you to enter your ​backup products ​​for quoting purposes (​Page 3)  – however if you use an electronic quoting system (like ConnectWise Sell or QuoteWerks) – then you can simply remove this page as well as the physical signing page (Page 9) and just simply attach ​this Agreement to your quote.

Make sure you update all the items in Orange as well as the Additional Pricing
